  Imagine the ability to drill the float equipment and then drill an oversized full gauge hole for the complete target interval, with either a rotary or steerable motor in one trip!

The TRI-MAX EWD® is an advanced mechanical tool that remains locked in the pass through size to drill the collar, cement, and shoe. Once clear of the casing, it is set by adding weight on the bit to activate the three blades to their pre-determined full gauge dimension. The locking mechanism insures the EWD® remains open to drill a full gauge hole.
